18- DO NOT EVALUATE AT FIRST SIGHT

When we notice a thought arising in our mind, this is an important thing. We immediately assess what is Good or Bad. If it is good, we should follow, and if it is bad, we should be against it. One is doing and the other is non-doing, but both agitate our mind.

As a result, how can we have serenity and complacency?

If we notice a thought arising in our mind, we must not assess if it is good or bad, worthy or unworthy of being acted upon. Our mind will not be agitated by the reasoning and the delusion of what should be done. We will not be pushed to justify our action. At that moment, we can reach EMPTINESS or REALIZE EMPTINESS.
